Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) is becoming particularly important in fields such as information technology and the use of digital media. Digital methods and practices are increasingly common in research projects and innovation.

What does it mean in practical terms? How can we facilitate the uptake of RRI? How can we measure the impact of RRI?

In this workshop, we aim to initiate general reflections and open dialogue about responsible design, development and use of digital media for research. By digital media we here understand a wide variety of methods from data collection from social media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter), voluntary reporting via tools (e.g. Mobile apps), online surveys, and similar.

Keynote speakers

  • Professor Bernd Carsten Stahl . He is a prominent academic in the field of RRI, with significant and important academic contributions.
