Church networks, peace building and gender rights in South Kivu and the Great Lakes RegionForfatter(e):
A majority of the women in South Kivu are members of churches, and many of them take active part in church work. Our research show that most women in the region receive their first leadership training through schools and religious children and youth organisations. The youth wings of the churches offer opportunities for both young men and women to exercise leadership.
