OsloMet International Summer School

Oslo Metropolitan University (former HiOA) invites students, professionals and anyone with a curiosity for technology to a fun, intensive and life-changing study experience. Join our Summer School and learn how state-of-the-art technologies are changing the world.

OsloMet International Summer School

The OsloMet International Summer School offers courses to students from any discipline with an interest to learn more about technology and how to incorporate technology into their respective disciplines and professions. In addition to intensive classes you will get the opportunity to learn in an international, innovative and collaborative environment while making friends and growing your international professional network.

The Summer School consists of 4-week intensive courses, held in Oslo, Norway where you will study alongside international and Norwegian students.

Participants have the chance to take 5 or 10 ECTS credit courses, taught by experts in their field.

Technology is increasingly important in any profession and understanding it is an advantage in all fields and work places.

During the Summer School, a three-day Innovation Camp is arranged, allowing all students to challenge themselves and foster new ideas. The last day of the camp, the students present their ideas to a panel of judges. Winners receive a prize, and everyone gets the chance to work collaboratively with OsloMet to turn their ideas into reality. For more information, see the “Innovation Camp” tab.

To get an impression of the schedule of the Summer School, see last year’s program at the “Program”-tab.

Who is it for?

The Summer School is hosted by the Department of Computer Science under the Faculty of Technology, Art and Design, but not all courses require a technical background. The Summer School is created with different disciplines and skill levels in mind. Students from any field, age and country are welcome to apply!
