Works in Progress Intensive Programme May 13th - May 26th
The main objectives for the IP are to link students and faculties across disciplines and borders to promote common visions for developing and advancing knowledge in nursing and allied professions. We plan to achieve this by providing an opportunity for students to develop and refine original, innovative ideas within a European research and development context. A supportive environment will be created in which students can apply knowledge and problem solving skills in an international, multi-disciplinary context. Students will also improve their grasp on qualitative and quantitative methods and their ability to clarify and communicate complicated concepts.
Students and professors come fra HiOA, College of Nursing Jesenice Slovenia, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, and Instituto Politécnico de Leiria, Portugal. In addition to these institutions, Dr. Lynda Wilson from University of Birmingham, Alabama USA will be lecturing on how to communicate research to the research community.
