HiOA has a new name: OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University. Find out what this means for you.

Academic Dugnad for refugees

Through a series of events and initiatives, HiOA is working to make a difference for refugees and asylum seekers in our region.

Many of the refugees coming to Norway today have completed higher education, are researchers or were students when they were forced to leave their home country. Norwegian higher education institutions wish to show solidarity with these refugees.

HiOA will therefore arrange a series of activities over the coming months to show support, and you can take part.

A series of activities and initiatives will be launched with partners including the University of Oslo. On this site, you will find updated information about various events. It will also show how you can contribute.

Are you a student, former student or an employee at HiOA? Now you have the opportunity to donate articles that will better the lives of refugees and asylum seekers.

Become a mentor!

HiOA's Academic Dugnad features an academic network mentoring scheme for integration and learning. Students and alumni are encouraged to take part.
