Welcome as a new student in Norway, and welcome to Oslo!

Although Oslo isn’t a big city, getting to know it can take some time, especially when it comes to finding out about student activities and attractions.

To make your introduction to student life in Oslo easier and quicker, we would like to invite you to ‘Studentslippet’ – a free event for all new students in Oslo on Saturday 19 August.

‘Studentslippet’ includes:

- Free entry to Oslo attractions like The National Gallery, the Opera House, the Nobel Peace Prize and many, many more between 1pm and 5pm (unless otherwise specified).
- Free concert with the Norwegian artist Daniel Kvammen.
- Fun social media challenges where you can win great prizes!
- Student discounts at lots of cafes and restaurants.

Arrive at St. Olavsgate 32 (by the Castle) between 11am – 12 noon to get a map and wristband (for free access to attractions).

Welcome to Oslo!
Studentslippet is organized by HiOA, UiO, BI, SiO and Oslo City Council.

Programme will be released at Studentslippets webpage.
