The Nordic Congress of Gerontology is a series of congresses with a long tradition. It is a meeting place for researchers and experts in the social sciences, health research, medicine, nursing, biology, humanities, and services research. Originally a Nordic congress, it has grown to become one of the most important multidisciplinary meetings on ageing, attracting participants from all over the world. Yet it has retained its relaxed Nordic atmosphere.

The venue of the 24NKG is at the heart of Oslo’s city centre with short distances to museums, arts, cafes and restaurants. A short trip with the tram brings you right onto Oslo’s rooftop, in the middle of the forest.
