The students' assignments were given by businesses and public agencies, and were useful in relation to solving relevant issues.

The assignments also help the students to acquire relevant knowledge and skills, as well as contacts in business and industry. The students were also able to practise presenting their projects in the form of posters.

The presentation at the IT Expo 2017 on 12 June was one of the last tasks the students undertook before they had officially completed their bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

The IT Expo also included some lectures in the IT field and a relevance seminar was held afterwards, which analysed the study programmes offered at the Department of Computer Science and their relevance in relation to working life, for the purpose of further developing the programmes.

Well-known companies and agencies participated, such as Bouvet, Capgemini, the Norwegian Tax Administration, the Norwegian Directorate of eHealth, Questpoint, Bekk and IBM.
