International mobility
Oslo and Akershus University College (HiOA) is actively engaged in facilitating student and staff exchange, as well as joint development of courses and study programmes. The HiOA encourages researchers to develop networks and build international relations that promote high academic quality and increased global insight and understanding.
Norway is part of the Euraxess Service, a joint initiative of the European Commission and countries participating in the European Union's Seventh Framework Programme. The HiOA aims to provide researchers access to information on all professional and personal matters involved in pursuing research opportunities at HiOA, including information on legal issues, social security, health and taxes, everyday life and family support.
