Care, health and welfare programme

The Care, health and welfare programme is an interdisciplinary, interfaculty research programme at Oslo and Akershus University College for Applied Sciences (OAUC). The research programme aims to bring together care, health, and social welfare research. The central faculties represented in the collaboration are the Faculty of Health and the Faculty of Social Sciences, but the activities of the programme may involve research at all of OAUC’s faculties and centres.

The main goal of the programme is to initiate interdisciplinary research in the areas of care, health, and social welfare. Within these areas, the objective is to contribute to external project acquisitions, a high level of publishing, as well as the strengthening of research training activities. Furthermore, the programme shall stimulate networking between OAUC’s institutes and faculties and other research communities in the Oslo region.
