What is in store for you as a new student?
Fellow students will run an Arrival Service to meet and greet new arrivals at Oslo Central Station on Friday 11 August.
Having had the weekend to settle in, Monday 14 August is an Orientation Day at HiOA’s Pilestredet campus with a series of short introductions to support services and student life in Oslo. It will also be an opportunity to meet your Buddies, students who will take responsibility for showing you round during your first weeks. The day will culminate in a party at the student bar, Samfunnet Bislet.
On the following day, Tuesday 15 August, you can take part in the Welcome Ceremony for all of HiOA’s 7,500 new students in St. Hanshaugen park close to the Pilestredet campus. The event kicks off with speeches, followed by activities, games and food stalls as well as a concert.
