About the Learning Centre and Library

The Learning Centre and Library has five library services and one digital unit.

Library - Kjeller

In the library, you will find literature, printing/copying machines, and work areas - both with and without computers. You can also get advice and assistance from the librarians.

About the library

The library resources cover the following subjects: Behavioral Science; Health, Nutrition and Leadership; Nursing; Vocational Training, and Product Design. As well as assistance delivered over the counter, we offer courses and counselling in information literacy (how to search for information, EndNote etc.) for both students and staff (mainly in Norwegian). You can also ask a librarian if you require individual guidance.

Opening hours for the Library Service in Sandvika.

About the library

The Library Service in Sandvika is situated on the 2nd floor in room 224. Here you will find a small collection of books, a self-service pickup shelf and workplaces. Students at Campus Sandvika can also use the library service premises outside the staffed opening hours. Just bring your student card and code.

You can also order books from the other HiOA libraries. These are delivered in Sandvika on Tuesday and Thursday and are placed on the self-service pickup shelf.

The librarian can help you with issues regarding information literacy etc. We offer courses in information skills (information search, EndNote and the like). You can also book a librarian for individual guidance.

NB: The self-service pickup shelf is available every week as long as the building is open. This applies only to students at Campus Sandvika. The students from Campus Pilestredet or Kjeller can only borrow books during the staffed opening hours.
