MOKV2400 Web Publishing and Information Architecture
Students shall acquire knowledge, skills and motivation in order to plan, design and publish individual web pages and more comprehensive web sites, based on basic principles of readability, communication efficiency and retrievability.

Students shall acquire knowledge, skills and motivation in order to plan, design and publish individual web pages and more comprehensive web sites, based on basic principles of readability, communication efficiency and retrievability.More about aims and contents.
The course is divided into the following three minor topics:
- Digital documents.
- Web publishing.
- Information architecture, users and web design.
Organisation and Working Methods
The tuition will consist of lectures with the possibility to practice theory, both as individual exercises and group work. There will also be work assignments. The students shall accomplish an individual project in which they shall plan and develop a web site about an approved theme for a target group of their own choice. The web site will be published on the student network of HiOA.
Assessment: A project, i.e. a completed web site, with process documentation, is presented for assessment. This can be delivered in Norwegian or English. The assessment is graded according to a five-step scale from A to E for passed and F for not passed.
