Critical Reflection on Organization Development and Project Management Department of Social Work, Child Welfare and Social Policy The objective of the course is to give knowledge about organizational change and project management. Students will learn to apply techniques and problem solving methods of relevance for development and efficiency and for project management in private and public organisations.

Mental health work with minority patients: migration and exile Department of Nursing and Health Promotion This course focuses on developing knowledge on an individual, family and cultural level in order to coordinate and implement appropriate transcultural mental health work. Upon completing this course, students will be competent in evaluating the need for treatment as well as planning and implementing interventions for patients with minority backgrounds.
English in Teacher Education Department of Primary and Secondary Teacher Education English for years 1-7 or years 5-10 follows the Norwegian National framework for teacher education. The courses focus on the teaching profession and are offered as 30 ECTS or 60 ECTS.

Universal issues in social welfare, such as unemployment and income are discussed, as well as, the relationship between children’s and parents’ rights.
Globalisation and the development of health and social policy Departmet of Social Work, Child Welfare and Social Policy Learn more about the main debates concerning the impact of economic, cultural and political globalisation upon health and social welfare in different parts of the world, and the role of multilateral agencies in influencing social and health policies.
Arctic lenses: Global Warming and Journalism Department of Journalism and Media Studies This course will help answer the question: How to “think globally” while zooming in on a particular climate change story, by trying out “Arctic Lenses” on Global Climate Change.

Multimodal Design Department of Primary and Secondary Teacher Education Through work with the literature and the course work requirements, the student should gain knowledge, skills and competence so that they recognize different genres of multimodal design for the Internet, consider what genres that suit different needs, can process texts of different genres and facilitate composite texts for universal design.
