Network and System Administration

The international Masters Degree programme in Network and System Administration is offered in collaboration with the University of Oslo. All courses are taught in English and foreign students are encouraged to apply.

Aims and contents

Network and system administration is a career path for IT professionals who are interested in how large installations of complex systems work together to provide the kind of technological infrastructure our society is now dependent on.

The aim of this programme is to provide a multidisciplinary training in order to create experts in this exciting field. We cover many technical aspects, such as security, networking, virtualization, data-center management, configuration management and large-scale services.



Application deadline

1 December for applicants from outside of the European Union/ European Economic Area.

1 March for EU/EEA/Swiss applicants

15 April for Nordic citizens and applicants with a permanent or renewable residence permit in Norway.  

Admission is once a year and applications are accepted beginning 1 October (1 February for EU/ EEA/ Nordic citizens and applicants with a residence permit in Norway).
