Lukasse currently leads a randomised controlled trial performed at 5 hospitals in the greater Oslo area. The trial investigated the effect of a mobile application for women with gestational diabetes. The study in short called "Gravidpluss" is an app for smart telephones. It allows transfer of bloodsugar values from the blood sugar measuring device to the app and provides a graphic presentation of the values. It also gives women advice on nutrition and physical activity.
