Kamilla Knutsen Steinnes is trained as a social psychologist from the University of Oslo. In her MA thesis from 2017 she investigated emotional responses to infantile stimuli commonly consumed through social media. She has worked with both qualitative and quantitative methods, with an emphasis on the latter. She has experience as a Scientific Assistant at the Department of Psychology at UiO where she primarily worked within The Kama Muta Lab. Through her involvement in the Policy Research Group at the University of Cambridge, she was interested in how psychological research can impact public policy. From October 2017 she holds a position as Scientific Affairs Officer in the Junior Researcher Programme. She has been involved in a cross-Cultural project studying consumer behavior through a digital experimental intervention since 2016. As of January 2018 she will contribute in projects related to sustainable food, the digitization of markets, and marketing through social media.
